Body Attack!!!!

What is Body Attack?

Body Attack is a sports-inspired cardiovascular workout for building strength and stamina. It is a high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Upper and body conditioning exercises are involved.

According to Les Mills (Creator of Body Attack), here are the benefits of Body Attack:
  • Burn calories for a leaner body
  • Improve co-ordination and agility
  • Increase heart and lung capacity through a full-body cardio workout

Review of Body Attack – Cardio Workout That Builds Your Stamina

We have taken 3 classes so far and find this one is the challenging workout so far when compared to others like Zumba (My fav one :)) or  Body Jam. Initially we thought it would be an easy one and after first class we were like so tired and now we feel this workout helped us to increase the stamina now in one hour class we were able to 1/2 hour properly.

In summary, you will have warm ups with low impact moves. Then, with medium impact moves, your heart rate and energy level will increase. Subsequent tracks will challenge your stamina. Push ups and abdominal exercises are normally the next routine. Lunges will be done to strengthen the legs. Finally, you will cool down with stretching.

 Beginner Advice:
  • You will run and jump a lot. Get a good pair of shoes for foot stability.
  • Also, wear something comfortable.
  • Because of the intense moves, you will sweat a lot. So, bring a towel and water bottle.
